Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, following her engagement in Alipurduar, arrived in Banarhat, Jalpaiguri district. Commencing her visit, she first worshipped at Sheetla temple, then interacted with local residents, and distributed chocolates, biscuits, and toys among children. Additionally, the Chief Minister enjoyed tea at the home of an elderly woman during her walk through the area.
Post the service distribution event in Alipurduar, Mamata Banerjee landed at Banerhat High School's temporary helipad around 2 pm. From there, she proceeded to offer prayers at Sheetla temple in Adarshpally, Banarhat.
Engaging with residents during a roadside stroll, she visited a local household, shared tea, and distributed gifts to children. Alongside presenting sarees and bedsheets to women, Mamata received bouquets from the local community. Expressing her connection with an elderly woman's family, she mentioned her visit as a gesture to fill the void of not having a mother.
